Assignment Capsule
As a Provider Contracting consultant you will: influence, educate and lead both internal and external business groups in order to optimize business results and ensure exceptional member experiences. You will also help to establish business objectives and create a tangible plan that will lead to their realization.
- Assess specific provider concerns, developing and implementing solutions that are beneficial to providers, Humana members, and the business-at-large.
- Assist in the education of providers about Humana's ever-expanding portfolio of products and services, ensuring continually updated knowledge about the company's offerings.
- Analyze data for cost reduction initiatives, guaranteeing profitable and efficient business relationships.

Role Essentials
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
- Prior demonstrated experience in the health solutions industry, with specific experience in the areas of Provider Relations
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Access
Role Desirables
- Medical claims experience
Reporting Relationships
You will report to a Director of Network Relations. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
